  • Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    James is based in Singapore and has over six years of experience in the agricultural technology industry. Prior to Agrata, he worked in investment banking at Citigroup’s New York office and was involved in a variety of M&A and financing transactions within the Healthcare sector.

    With roots in the southern coastal town of Kenting in Taiwan, he has a natural affinity for the sea and is passionate about sustainability driven businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

  • Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer

    Timothy previously worked in strategy consulting at Bain & Company’s Chicago office. There he worked with clients in telecom, agriculture, F&B, and financial services on their growth and transformation strategies.

    Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.

  • Chief Operating and Scientific Officer

    Colin is a 30-year pioneer and recognized international expert in mud crab (Scylla spp.) aquaculture and fisheries since the early 1990s. He is also the author of the United Nations FAO manual for mud crab aquaculture and has assisted in hatchery development for private enterprise.

    He is the former Marine Advisor and Director of the University of the South Pacific, Director of the Darwin Aquaculture Center, and Manager of the Department of Agriculture & Fisheries in Queensland, Australia. He has also had significant NGO experience, serving as the Project Leader for a World Fish program in Bangladesh and Nigeria, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

  • Operations and Engineering Lead

    Yin is an operator and engineer with over 10 years of experience working in project management, construction, and supply chain management across multi billion-dollar aquaculture projects.

    Yin previously served as an operations manager for Resorts World Singapore and Bali Safari and Marine Park. There he was primarily responsible for project planning, installation of life support infrastructure and engineering, and day to day facility operations.
